The couple is said to have purchased an impressive property in the area worth approximately $18 million, signaling their serious intent to put down roots in the U.K.
Their decision follows a series of real estate moves in the U.S. Earlier this year, Ellen and Portia sold their expansive California estate—which featured six bathrooms and ample luxury amenities—for a reported $29.9 million.
They didn’t stop there. In a continued effort to simplify and distance themselves from their former lifestyle, they also listed a smaller two-bedroom bungalow in Montecito, California.
That charming property, located near the popular Butterfly Beach, quickly attracted attention. According to People magazine, it received multiple offers within just two days and sold for $5.2 million.
